Hey, I’m Leslie, and I just wrapped up an epic 14-day trip to Mombasa and Zanzibar with Wildtrippers! Honestly, they outdid themselves yet again. Whether you’re traveling solo or with a group, Wildtrippers is hands down my go-to for any adventure.
Mombasa was our first stop, and the mix of cultures there is incredible. The city is this amazing blend of Swahili, Indian, and Arabic influences. We got to explore Old Town, visit Fort Jesus, and dive into the local food scene. But the highlight? The different types of beer I got to taste! Tusker, of course, was a classic, but I also tried some local brews that I’d never even heard of. Each one seemed to reflect the region’s unique character—it was like getting a taste of the culture in every sip.
Then we hopped over to Zanzibar, where the vibe was totally different but just as magical. I fell in love with the island’s rich history and the warm, welcoming people. Stone Town is this vibrant maze of narrow streets, spices, and incredible architecture. And once again, the beers were a journey of their own! I tried Serengeti Lager, Kilimanjaro, and a few others—each one pairing perfectly with the island’s laid-back vibe and fresh seafood. Every night, we would gather by the beach, crack open a cold one, and just soak in the sunsets. It doesn’t get better than that.
What really stood out about the whole experience was how effortlessly Wildtrippers wove together adventure and relaxation. I didn’t have to worry about a thing—everything was taken care of, from our flights to accommodation, to the best local guides who knew all the hidden gems. They really know how to tailor a trip that suits your style.
Now, I’m counting down the days to my upcoming Paris trip, which Wildtrippers has already customized for me. Whether I decide to go solo or join one of their group trips again, I know I’m in for something special. If you’re looking for a travel company that truly gets it, Wildtrippers is where it’s at!
Cheers to more adventures and more great beers! 🍻
