Overview
Depart from Kampala at 7:00 AM for Murchison Falls National Park, bringing along snacks and water for the journey. Arrive at the park gate around noon and proceed to Murchison Falls for a hike to the top, offering stunning views of the falls and the Nile River. Enjoy a packed lunch or a simple meal at one of the park’s picnic spots. In the evening, check into the lodge, have a simple dinner, and rest for an early morning game drive. The next day, start with a 6:30 AM game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, where you can see elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, and antelopes. After the 3-4 hour drive, have breakfast at your lodge or bring food along. Relax or explore nearby areas before lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a 2-hour boat safari on the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and various birds. Take photos at the base of the falls before returning to the dock. Return to the lodge for dinner, enjoy the evening around a campfire, and stay overnight. On the third day, return to Kampala.
